Steps

    Define handoff triggers (angry, complex, big job, asks for a person).

  2. 2

    Summarize name, issue, urgency, address.

  3. 3

    Say who they're going to and why.

  4. 4

    Human opens with the summary.

Prompt / script

Handoff rules:
Hand off if: caller asks for a person, is upset, mentions termite treatment, or anything about safety or insurance claims.
AI says: "I'm going to connect you with [NAME], who handles this. I'll tell them what you told me so you don't have to repeat it."
Note to human: [Name] / [Phone] / [Issue] / [Urgency] / [Location] / [Source]
Human opens: "Hi [Name], I see you're calling about [ISSUE]. Let's get it sorted."
